Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max filtration and monitoring
The Xiaomi Mijia Smart Air Purifier Max features a dual filtration system and two UVC modules which, Xiaomi says, can remove 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, including H1N1 and E. coli. The purifier is also certified to eliminate allergens such as pollen, pet hair and dust mites. Xiaomi further claims that it removes 99% of formaldehyde.
Formaldehyde levels are shown in real time on the built-in display, which also reports room temperature, humidity and PM2.5 particle levels. The device can additionally be controlled through the Xiaomi Home app.
Air-cleaning capacity and noise level
According to the manufacturer, the unit can clean the air in a 10 m² room in only 1.6 minutes. Its stated clean air delivery rate (CADR) is 1006.5 m³/h, while the recommended coverage area ranges from 63 to 108 m².
Another feature of the model is its quiet operation: the minimum noise level is 19.1 dBA, making the purifier suitable for use in a bedroom at night, for example. The unit measures 290 × 290 × 760 mm and is fitted with wheels for easier movement.
